A future where all are can experience greater well-being and prosperity is possible and while much progress has been made, much more is possible and there are many working towards this goal that are frustrated. The amount of resources being located towards change is significant for the level of progress we’re after.

Attempting to have an impact at the population level and actually doing so requires more than what we’ve been used to in the past. The typical pattern: leadership change, a new policy directive, a new strategic plan - it tends to fall short and often, harms relationships an trust as organizations shift from commitments to the community and launch organizational restructures.

This has been the process so many of us have experienced countless times and yet, over and over again, we see how short this process falls in delivering the change our communities long for. We want systemic change and yet, it seems we haven’t yet figured out what changes we need to make to align our organizations, our processes, and ourselves as leaders in the field, to deliver the results we desire. We are doing the same thing over and over but not getting the results we’re after.  

At Stellar Blueprint, our approach to systems change work focuses on addressing the very gaps that have been calling for our attention. We work with our partners to gain a deeper understanding of the systems they’re trying to impact, uncover the causal patterns, and identify the core elements impacting the issue at hand so that solutions are truly designed to maximize impact. Our process centers people and communities. The current systems have long demanded that people turn themselves inside out to fit the norm which has often only caused further harm.
